Saifuddin Hamza Shah (1410-12 CE) was the fourth Sultan of the first Ilyas dynasty of Bengal. After the death of his father, Ghiyasuddin Azam Shah, he succeeded the throne and assumed the title Sultan-us-Salatin.[1]
A civil war in Bengal broke out during Hamza's reign. In 1412, after only 2 years of ruling, he was killed by his slave Shihabuddin.[1]
